Why did they build a guest app?

Those five luxury self-catering properties offer a five-star experience for guests visiting Newport-On-Tay.  For Evelyn Hardie, it was very important to provide her guests with useful and up-to-date information about their stay, the accommodation and what to do in the area. Building an app proved to be an ideal solution for her as she could easily add relevant content and update it at any time she wants.

The app is also for her a great talking point for guests and a way to encourage them to talk about Sandford Country Cottages to their relatives and recommend it by showing the app and its content.

“Our guests like having up to date information before they arrive which tells them all about staying at Sandford. In the app they can find all the information they need so that they can decide what to bring with them, how to get here, how to check in early if they wish, how to work the heating and appliances, things to do in our local area, places to eat out, and our gallery pages are perfect for browsing images of our holiday homes, and I think, encourages guests to show them to other potential guests.

I found building the app addictive – once you got started it was difficult to stop adding in information, and unlike our hard copy welcome folders, it is very easy to update.”
